Make sure the battery connector is not touching the battery post.\u003c\/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eDisconnect and remove the module to be replaced.\u003c\/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eInstall and connect the replacement module.\u003c\/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eConnect the negative terminal of the battery.\u003c\/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eProgram the ECU to your vehicle - your local Mercedes shop should be able to do this.\u003c\/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eThere are some companies which can clone the replacement ECU to work with your vehicle. We believe your original ecu is necessary to clone to this ecu or you will need to swap your security chip into this unit.
