Product Description

Part Number

These units do not have part numbers. They will come with rear defrost and without rear defrost. This unit does have rear defrost and you must match this.

Fitment

    Will fit the following vehicles with the same manual 3 button set up with rear deforst. You must have a 3 button unit or the unit will smoke once installed.
  • 1996 to 1999 Chevy C1500, C2500, K1500, K2500, Tahoe and Suburban with a manual, 3 button climate control with rear defrost
  • 1996 to 1999 GMC C1500, C2500, K1500, K2500 and Yukon with a manual, 3 button climate control with rear defrost

Tech Notes

    Climate Control has been tested and/or repaired by our experienced electronics repair techs! Some of those are listed below:
  • All night illumination bulbs have been replaced
  • Fan speed switch tested and all 4 positions are good.
  • The resistor which typically fails has been replaced
  • All traces are good

Item Condition

  • Faceplate is in good shape as pictured
  • Knobs are included - see pictures
  • Illumination is perfect as bulbs have been replaced.
  • Both mounting tabs are missing. We have seen this units installed with screws. If this is an issue please do not purchase. There is some chipped plastic on the back, typical of these units.

Warranty

This climate control comes with a 3 month warranty from the date of purchase. Please keep a copy of your purchase record which we will send with your item.
