Not for F-250 / F-350 Super Duty or 5.4L trucks.

Tech Notes

    ECU has been tested with our state of the art vehicle simulator which tests over 25 circuits of the ECU! Some of those are listed below:
  • Reference Voltage Good!
  • ECU has transmission communication!
  • ECU powered up and has communication!
  • ECU fuel pump/main relay tested good!
  • ECU injectors/coils tested good and much more!  

Install Notes

  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Make sure the battery connector is not touching the battery post.
  • Disconnect and remove the module to be replaced.
  • Install and connect the replacement module.
  • Connect the negative terminal of the battery. 
  • To finish the install, complete the short key relearn using the instructions included with your ECU (no special tools). See Programming / PATS Security below.

We program your VIN into this ECU before it ships, FREE. With **TWO CHIPPED OEM KEYS (no cloned keys)** and our included instructions, this ECU is plug and play with minimal effort - no mechanic or dealer needed. If you have the two original keys with the Ford logo on them, you are ready.

Step 1: Match your part number to the fitment guide above.

Step 2: At checkout, list your VIN and mileage in the "Notes to Seller" (or message us through eBay) and we will program the ECU before shipping. If we do not hear from you, we will assume your mechanic is performing the programming (no problem at all) and we will ship the ECM out the next business day as directed by eBay. Without VIN programming the ECU will set code P1639.

Step 3: Install the ECU and follow our included relearn instructions with your two chipped keys. When finished the vehicle is ready to drive - no trip to the dealer and no special tools.

Item Condition

  • Mounting points are all open and intact
  • Pins perfect, none are broken or bent
  • Lock tabs in place
  • Connector plastic may have minor chip but pins, guides and lock tabs are in place.

This ECM comes with a 90 day warranty from the date of purchase. Please keep a copy of your purchase record which we will send with your item.
