Product Description

Part Number

Software: A 647 153 28 79 -  We recommend matching this but we believe your BMW/MB shop can update this.

Bosch: 0 281 012 198 - You *Absolutely* must match this number or the ecu will not work for your application.

Fitment/Interchange

  • You must match your part number exactly as seen above. If any numbers are off compared to your original it will not work properly.
  • Ecu will require programming or coding to your vehicle and is not plug and play!! You will need to take this to your local BMW/MB import shop. They will be able to perform this for you. DO NOT take this to your dealer. They will tell you it cannot be programmed or they will not program it.
  • Ecu will fit 2003 to 2006 Sprinter 2.7L models with matching part numbers as described above.

Tech Notes

    ECU has been tested with our state of the art vehicle simulator which tests over 25 circuits of the ECU! Some of those are listed below:
  • Reference Voltage Good!
  • ECU powered up and has diagnostic/bus communication!
  • ECU fuel pump test good!
  • Cooling fan circuit tested!
  • ECU injectors test good and much more!

Install Notes

  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Make sure the battery connector is not touching the battery post.
  • Disconnect and remove the module to be replaced.
  • Install and connect the replacement module.
  • Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
  • Ecu will now need programming or coding to your vehicle.

If you would like to send your ecu back for a $20 core refund please let us know during checkout and we will include a prepaid return label with your purchase. Once the core returns we will issue your partial refund promptly. It's that simple. This is optional and you are not obligated to participate.
