If your current ecu does not match both of the above this chip swap service DOES NOT WORK!

How the process works?

  • You will need to send us your ecu.
  • We will first verify a part number match. We will then determine if your ecu can be worked on or if it is damaged beyond the point where we can swap all necessary circuit board chips. 
  • We will swap the necessary chips, test the donor ecu and confirm in working order then ship BOTH your original ecu and the new ecu back to you.
  • Installation instructions are below.
  • **NOTE** If the ecu sent to us is not a part number match we will ship it back but will have to charge a $24.99 handling fee and we will not be able to refund shipping costs. If the ecu sent to us has noticeable heavy water damage in the pins and we cannot remove the necessary chips we will ship the ecu back to you and there will be a $24.99 handling charge plus shipping. 

    **NOTE** There are some instances where this process does not work. It is not a 100% gaurantee but we have had great success with this process. If you are thinking of cloning your ecu please move forward with that. If we attempt this swap/repair and it doesn't work you will not be able to clone the ecu.

DONOR Tech Notes

    The donor ECU has been tested with our state of the art vehicle simulator which tests over 25 circuits of the ECU! Some of those are listed below:
  • Reference Voltage Good!
  • ECU powered up and has communication!
  • ECU fuel pump/main relay test good!
  • ZERO water or corrosion damage confirmed on donor board!
  • ECU injectors/coils test good and much more!  

Install Notes

  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Make sure the battery connector is not touching the battery post.
  • Install and connect the replacement module.
  • Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
  • Ecu will not need programming as we have swapped the necessary circuit board chips. 
  • NOTE: We will also include pigtails in the event you need to swap a connector that has been damage due to water or corrosion.

This Chip swap service comes with a 90 day warranty. If anything happens within this time-frame please contact us and we will work with you on options to get you up and running!
