Make sure the battery connector is not touching the battery post.\u003c\/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eDisconnect and remove module to be replaced. Make sure connector harness is clean and there are no broken wires.\u003c\/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eInstall and connect the replacement module.\u003c\/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eConnect the negative terminal of the battery.\u003c\/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eEBCM will require intialization at this point.\u003c\/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eAfter install clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes and drive vehicle for 1 or 2 days.
